Hinge problem with Dell Inspiron 15 series

I was normally using the laptop and after shutting it down I started to close it when it just started peeling from the right hinge. Upon checking online I saw that there were multiple people who faced the same problem.

The laptop is very well maintained and has never fallen or had any mishaps.
The service centre is refusing to help in any way and are demanding the full amount to be paid for repairing the laptop.

Kindly assist.

Hi everyone,

If you're experiencing issues with the hinges on your Dell system, please contact Dell support, even if your system is out of warranty. While we cannot guarantee that any actions will be taken, a tech support agent will review your system's condition and make a decision accordingly.

Please reach out to our tech support by clicking the "Get Help Now" chat button located at the bottom right corner of this page. Our agents will determine if your case qualifies for an extended warranty.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Any repairs after warranty expiration are paid by the owner.
