G15 5515, unable to change brightness
Dell G15 5515 Ryzen Edition
This is a known problem in the community
Dell simply pretends it doesn't have anything to do with them.
The problem is not the Nvidia Driver, but the AMD one.
The solution suggested by Dell support staff is to disable optmius in the BIOS. I won't even comment on that.
I know this isn't the expected solution, but here's the configuration where the brightness works and the system is as up-to-date as possible, without having to disable Optimus. I've done several tests and this configuration was the best with everything working.
Windows 11
Nvidia (Nvidia website): 566.03 (updated)
AMD (AMD website): 23.5.2 (2023 driver that works)
For those who want Dell drivers:
Nvidia: 32.0.15.5612, A10 (latest)
AMD: 31.0.12024.0, A04 (old 2022 driver that works)
Update:
It's amazing how incompetent Dell is.
Dell released an AMD driver on November 8th and a new BIOS on November 5th, but it didn't fix the problem.
What's up, Dell?

Hi everyone,
A new AMD Radeon Graphics Driver is available to address this issue.
Please download and install the latest version, and let us know the outcome.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi, this is the current workaround:
1. Disable hybrid graphics in the BIOS.
2. Downgrade the AMD video driver to version 31.0.12024.0, A04.
Please note that the investigation is ongoing, and this is not the final solution. However, it may help mitigate the issue in the meantime. We kindly ask you to test it and provide your feedback, as your input is crucial in helping the team gain more clarity and develop a permanent fix.

Thanks for the reply, @DELL-Nat M , but Workaround disabling optimus in bios is not final solution.
We want a problem resolution.
And it's obvious that the issue is on AMD driver, as I related above.

@sachinsir , there are the new links. Dell has changed all support page.
BIOS 1.23.0
New Nvidia Driver
Old AMD driver that works
This setup doesnt need optimus disabled.

@DELL-Nat M
They didn't fix it.
Dell managed to release a new Bios and a new AMD driver and not fix the problem. Impressive.
I tested here with the new AMD and BIOS versions, but without success.
