Dell Inspiron 16 7620 2-in-1 Vengeance Sodimm 32 GB (dual) memory upgrade failure
Hi there!
I own an Inspiron 16 7620 2-in-1
Tried an upgrade from Corsair with Vengeance Sodimm DDR4 32 GB (dual 16), 3200 MHZ. Originally were fit 8 gb @ 3200 from Kingstone. As per specifications, my system shall support 32 GB dual, but not. Tried to disconnect the battery, no results. On another laptop (toshiba), these memories are working well. There is any clue on?
Observed that after 15 seconds, battery led is blinking 5 times white and 2 times red then a short pause, this is consecutively.
Thanks for any suggestion!

Vengeance RAM is performance RAM. It will not work in your laptop, due to aggressive timings. The diagnostic light pattern of 2 amber and 5 white signifies "Invalid memory installed", so that confirms the incompatibility.
Here is RAM that Crucial guarantees compatible with your laptop.
Whenever touching components or working inside a computer, wear a grounded wrist strap, also called anti-static wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet. It's a cheap and sensible precaution. Rest the laptop on an anti-static mat or at least a reasonable alternative such as corrugated cardboard. (Repeatedly touching a metal case part is not sufficient mitigation with modern components.)

Dear Filbert,
Thank you for reply. Returned today Corsair memories and ordered those which you specified, 2x16. Gentlemen from IT Galaxy Romania, were very open to this case and through them, exchange of memories will take place with Crucial. Tuesday will be able to confirm. Weird is that Corsair confirmed that memories are suitable for my system, but not as you said.

Be aware that the BIOS takes several minutes to recognize the new memory while the screen remains blank; it took so long that I thought the 2X32GB 3200 so-dimm was incompatible with my Inspiron. But after the long wait my Inspiron has 64Gb of 3200 ram and is working beautifully.
