Dell G16 Laptop Black Screen after playing games
Had this problem for a while now, it seems that quite a lot of Higher end games seem to kill the NVidia drivers. the game will crash to a black screen with the laptop still running. After a while, my desktop will load but if i look in task manager, there are no graphics cards there - not even the integrated graphics. Then I would go to restart the laptop and it will bluescreen with a driver error. Looking at event viewer, its just a kernel power failure.
I have tried updating all my drivers and even re-installed GeForce Experience.
It is, as you can imagine, very annoying and I need any tips you have to fix this.
Thanks
Joseph

I ended up needing a replacement motherboard.
The laptop now works - Hardware issue.

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

@Jammore
Hi Joseph,
I tried using DDU to uninstall the NV card driver, and then installed the November 2023 version of the NV card driver from Dell. It seems to be working now. I also set the power plan to balanced mode and ensured that AWCC is not using performance mode for both individual games and the system overall.And disable Dell assistant on startup.
In my opinion, this issue may be related to the graphic card driver.
Have a try, and good luck!
