Go to support.dell.com, enter the service tag and look up the original configuration. The battery part number will be listed in the manifest.

Hi
Make model and OS please.
Sometimes those kind of details are contained within a diagnostic report.
Open Dell Power Manager from the Start menu
Click on "Battery Information" to see your battery health and capacity.
OR Powershell command ...
powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery-report.html"
EG:
Installed batteries
Electric

To check the battery part number without removing it, you can try the following methods:
Check in BIOS/UEFI: Many laptops show battery information in the BIOS/UEFI, including the battery model or part number. To access BIOS/UEFI, restart your laptop and press the required key (usually F2, F10, or ESC) during boot to enter the BIOS menu. Look for a "Battery Information" or "System Information" section.
Battery Information in Windows:
wmic battery get serialnumber, devicename, batterystatus
Look for Sticker or Label on Battery: Some laptops have the battery part number printed on a label on the bottom or under the device, which you can check without removing the battery.
Manufacturer's Software: Some laptop manufacturers provide proprietary software (like Dell Power Manager, Lenovo Vantage, etc.) that shows detailed battery information, including the part number.
Let me know if this helps!
