Alternative options to download OS recovery image for old model
Is possible to download OS image from Dell OS recovery tool from other sources? My tool keeps saying about "No OS images for this tag, though images exist for this product." which I can't download any images for my model. Here these apps I tried:
-SupportAssist: Failed immediately after created partition for SupportAssist OS Recovery. All attempts still same result.
-Dell Backup and Recovery tool: Successfully created recovery partition and worked but its backup everything from Windows into recovery image.
Model: Inspiron 14 3458
CPU: Intel Core i3-4005U
Warranty status: Expired

As I have mentioned, the original OS shipped with your system is no longer supported. Meaning Microsoft will not provide security update to your system. You can access to Windows Creation Tool from a working machine and creating a Windows installation using USB drive.

Windows OS for a Haswell generation CPU would be Win 7 or Win 8, and is no longer supported. Your better option is to install Win 10. Go to Microsoft website and download Windows Creation Tool to make an installation USB drive. After Win 10 installation is complete, you can go to Dell support site and download all needed drivers for your system. Win 7 drivers can be used in place.

@Chino de Oro Can I use another same model laptop to download OS image because tool says "No OS image for this tag" or just use DBaR (Dell Recovery and Backup) to create recovery partition?
