wanting to upgrade cpu for my dell inspiron 3650
I want to upgrade my CPU for my Dell Inspiron 3650, but I'm not sure what I should go with or if it will even be compatible. I want a CPU that doesn't bottleneck the GTX 1660 super I will put in there and will fit in the motherboard. I also have a 400W psu i will put it there but would like to know if any recommendations would require more wattage. Thanks in advance.

16 GB ddr3

The best CPU you can upgrade to is the i7 6700. You cannot go higher than a Gen 6 CPU and the 6700K would not be overclockable in your system hence the 6700. The i7 would be about a 44% increase in performance.
