Upgrading Dell Inspiron 3670

So I have been gifted a Dell Inspiron 3670 desktop, no video card, basic 290w psu and intel core i3-8100 cpu. I was also given an Nvidia EVGA GTX 660Ti as my friend upgraded and didnt want it. I am curious what would need to be upgraded (besides psu as i have a 500w on the way) to make this a basic gaming pc for low end games. i can play things like valorant with on board graphics on lowest settings getting around 50-60 fps. this is my first time upgrading a pc and dont want to fry anything, any help would be nice!

Try the gtx 660ti with the i3-8100 first after upgrading psu.  If gaming performance is ok then you are all set.  They are a good match as shown below.  For better fps consider a faster video card.  the i3-8100 will bottleneck the gpu to some extent.

you may already know that 3670 uses proprietary 8 pin motherboard power connector.  To use a standard 24/4 pin ATX psu you would need a 24 to 8 pin adapter.

Thanks for your posting.  I want to change out the OEM Wi-Fi card, since it, unbelievably, does not access 5GHz wireless networks!  Do you have, or know where I can go to find, a picture of the OEM Wi-Fi card spot on the Dell Inspiron 3670 motherboard, so I can know where to go to replace it with a new Dell Wi-Fi card I just bought that does access 5Ghz wireless networks?  I gather that the old and new cards don't look the same; so I don't know what I'm looking for on a motherboard to find the old card, pull it, and install the new one in its place.  Thanks for any help that you might provide!

Hey, I know this is a old forum but how did you manage to run Val. That requires tpm 2.0 witch the insperion 3670 does no support( I think) am I just wrong if so do I need a bios update or something because I could not get tpm 2.0 to work. (It is a requirement to run val) I do not mean to sound rude either just trying to under stand how.
