Ram upgrade for an Inspiron 5676

I've been having memory management errors and tried numerous solutions including verifying files and error checking. So I'm wanting to upgrade my ram on my computer. Problem is I'm not sure what ram to get exactly that'll fit in my comp. I've an Inspiron 5676 with 16 GB ram 2400mhz. My motherboard is a Dell OVYXHD. I'm wanting to upgrade to 32 gb ram but I've been told the fastest read speed I can have on this comp is 2400mhz.
