Inspiron Desktop 3891 - super slow
Just ordered & received the new Inspiron Desktop 3891 for my father-in-law, its meant to be an up-grade from a PC that is 8 years old, but its so slow its painful.
Its only just been purchased and data migration is completed, but I need to get this PC moving faster asap.
Any ideas? I have down loaded all the up-dates available and there is no change at all.

I had the same problem. I solved it by going to "settings" in Microsoft Edge and turning off "hardware acceleration".

Disable hardware acceleration in Edge.

10th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-10105 processor(4-Core, 6M Cache, 3.7GHz to 4.4GHz)
Windows 11 Home, English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Spanish
Intel® UHD Graphics 630 with shared graphics memory
8GB, 8Gx1, DDR4, 2666MHz
1TB 7200RPM 3.5" SATA HDD
Slow when opening web browser and doing anything, seems like there is a delay even when clicking the mouse. Its really slow to use, even when you accept something and click accept it takes a a good few seconds to register and then slow to move on, the old PC is quicker....

Did it come with a (spinning-platter) hard-disk-drive (HDD), or a solid-state-drive (SSD) ?
What is "slow" ? Do you mean while booting-up or when launching Programs and Apps ?

This is all very useful I just hope I do not have to use it. My New Dell Desk top has just arrived and yet to be unpacked. Am still using old reconditioned Gamer 9010 (ntel 1.7) which is amazingly fast but wont support Windows 11. fingers crossed that new machine does not disappoint!!
