Inspiron 660 Memory Upgrade From 8GB Possible.

I have a Inspiron 660, with the following specs from 'Device Specifications':

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3340 CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.87 GB usable)
Device ID E1822481-66EB-476B-8A24-364A547ED4F3
Product ID 00326-10000-00000-AA731
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display.

I am looking at upgrading memory from 8 to 16 GB.

Is this possible?

Looking at the Dell Specifications pdf I see the following under 'Memory':

Memory
Connectors : two internally-accessible DDR3 DIMM sockets
Type : Unbuffered, non-ECC, dual-channel DDR3
Speed : 1333/1600 MHz DDR3
Capacities : 2 GB and 4 GB
Configurations supported : 2 GB, 4 GB, 6 GB, and 8 GB
Minimum : 2 GB
Maximum : 8 GB

Thank you for any and all assistance/thoughts.

This thread says a user successfully upgraded an Inspiron 660 to 2x 8 GB.

This one here says same thing, and mentions RAM that worked, assuming it's still available...

Is it worth putting money into this PC, which only has a 3rd Gen Intel CPU?
