Dell Inspiron 3891 and RX6400

Nothing works for GPU to work

I have done absolutely everything. I have even installed a 500w power supply on my Dell Inspiron 3891. But my new gpu, a rx 6400, freezes after a minute. This is getting on my nerves. I have installed my graphics drivers constantly over and over, done a fresh install of windows, used safe mode, did a complete uninstall of graphics drivers, and now have installed a 500w power supply to overkill its 360w need. And yet, the computer entirely fails.
A light constantly blinks showing that the SSD is working.

Specs:
Core i5 11400k
12 gb ram
RX 6400
a 80 bronze power supply of 500w
60hz LG monitor

(I cannot buy anything more, I have gone way past my budget already.)

I have been told on other sites that it was a power issue with the gpu not being to have enough power from the board. I have returned the old gpu (that does work, i replaced it twice and the gpu wouldn’t work) and instead got a RX 6500 XT, which should have a port to get some extra power. If that gpu doesn’t work, I’ll update the post.

If pc is stable running without new gpu but when new gpu is installed you get post but insane instability (freeze, blue screen etc.), it is not a power issue but video card issue.  It could be video card memory corruption.  one thing you can try is to test new gpu in another desktop pc if you have an old working unit.  If not, consider returning the new gpu.
