Dell G5 5090 not turning on
I'm having a problem with getting my PC to turn on. It's a Dell G5 5090 desktop that I've had for two-ish years now. It was working fine last night and then I turned it off to put an SSD in it (which I decided that I could do without), and never turned it back on once I put it back. When I plug it in, the PSU clicks, lights up, and the fan starts but only for a second and turns back off. This is normal but when I push the power button nothing happens. I tried using a different cord but nothing seems to be working. Hopefully someone can help me out with this because I really need my computer this weekend for some personal stuff.

If it worked before and does not now then I would recommend checking all cable connections to make sure nothing is loose or has been unplugged. It was not clear, did you leave the SSD in the system and if so does the system boot if the SSD is disconnected? This Dell support page may help. Also try disconnecting power from everything except the 2 motherboard connections and try to boot. If the system powers up then try connecting the power to other components one at a time until the system does not boot. That will pinpoint the cause of the problem. Again carefully exam all connections and make sure everything looks right and make sure there are no shorts such as a loose screw laying on the MB. Also check and make sure RAM modules are secure and other components are fully plugged in.

Major update: I thought the issue was the PSU but I think it has to do with the graphics card. The PC powers on well when the graphics card isn't in, but once I reseat it to the motherboard, everything shuts down. The graphics card works fine since the computer stays on when I ONLY plug the PSU cord into it, but once it's seated, it goes kaputt.
Everything is firmly connected. I decided to remove the SSD since my friend failed to mention that porting my OS to it would be a lengthy process. I kinda did what you said about plugging everything back in one at a time and that's how I discovered the graphics card issue.

A problem with the GPU then. If possible try another GPU. But a faulty GPU can cause the problem you are seeing. It may be putting a load on the PSU such as a short, etc. I assume at one time the GPU did work properly?
