Assistance on Extra Storage Dell Inspiron Desktop 3880

I have a Kioxia (KBG40ZNS512G) SSD (512GB M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe) installed in my Dell Inspiron 3880 desktop. This was factory fitted.

I wish to add 2TB of internal storage to the computer and to install this myself.

I would happily add a second SSD, if this will function, otherwise I would install a hard drive. I would also need to buy the required wiring.

I’m not an expert on this sort of thing but am practical and can follow instructions, however the simplest fitting is probably best for me!

Products that have cropped up are Barracuda, Crucial and, of course Kioxia.

Would someone recommend the best product for my circumstances.

Adding 3.5” hdd is easy. You already have a fast boot ssd so a second hdd should be fine

if you want a second 2.5” ssd you can use a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter to enclose the ssd then mount it like a 3.5” device

@redxps630 the only problem is that it does not answer my question about a recommended brand.
