Windows updates with Image Assist images
Dell does not apply Windows updates to custom images for new factory orders. Customers can include desired updates when building their image, either online or offline.
The factory process takes 8-10 business days, making monthly patches impractical. Most customers provide bi-annual or quarterly updated images. Local images can be updated more frequently for in-house deployments
