About ASM/ME restore a database
Hello All,
With ASM/ME, I successfully create a snapshot for SQL Server 2008 r2 cluster, but when I tried to recover from the snapshot, I get the following pic, I am sure that useranme and password for both VDS/VSS Acccess and Smart copy access are correct.
I click ok, a few seconds later, the "add or modify group info" window apears again.
If I go to "iSCSI Initiator properties", manually input the username and password (THE SAME WITH Smart Copy Access) to connect the realted volume, then click ok in "add or modify group info" windows, then "Restoring from smart ...." can succesfully finished.
isn't cool, right?
my ASM/ME is the latest version downloaded form www.equallogic.com
OS is windows 2008 r2 ent. with SP1.
anyboy can help me?
thanks.

Ensure you set the username and password on each node using the Remote Setup Wizard, as discussed in the "Dell EqualLogic Host Integration Tools Installation and User's Guide" page 32 in the section titled "Configuring a Computer to Access a PS Series Group".
