Volumes in System Center Operations Manager 2012

Hi!

I have PS6610 with a few volumes that I'm trying to monitor through SCOM.

Under the storage pools node I have and all Child nodes down the the Power supply, however under volumes its just empty.

I've googled around and I've seen pictures from SCOM 2007 and there all the volumes are listed.

So is there any extra configuration needed to get the volumes and its status listed in SCOM 2012?

If it's still supported of course.

I'm running SCOM 2012 R2 with the latest CU and Dell EqualLogic management pack 6.0.

I've also tried both the detailed and scalable feature.

Thanks in advance.

From the Users Guide posted here, please refer to page 12.

Is that what you are referring to?  See below..

Hello,

I know this is an old post, but I'm having the same issue, I've imported the 'Detailed Monitoring' for the equalLogic but individual disks and volumes are not being discovered, in the documentation it states the following:

'If you import the Dell EqualLogic Detailed Feature, all the components are displayed and monitoring is available up to the component group level.'

I'm using SCOM 2016, EqualLogic 6.0.0 management pack.

Any ideas?

Hi Don,

Thanks for this, I don't think there would be much difference between 2012 R2 and 2016, I've used many packs from 2007 that work just fine with 2012...

I've been unable to open a case with Dell, I've seen some smiliar issues on these communities for the same issue, here's a full detail of my problem:

Any help would be appreciated
