PS6500 history of failures
Has anyone had an issue on a PS6500 when a disk has a history of failures? The disk in question has been replace twice but the message does not disappear and cannot be used? Does anybody know of a way to clear this message.
Thanks
Chris

Hello Chris,
Where did you get the drives from? HOF is stored on the failed drive not on the controller.

Hello Chris,
When you say "replaced" do you mean that you have removed the drive and re-inserted it? History of Failures (HOF) should only refer to that specific drive. Once it's been marked as failed it should be replaced with a new good drive as it's no longer reliable for long term use.

Don

Hi Don,
Yes we have replaced the drive twice with new drives and HOF does not go on the drive slot. I have also rebooted the unit.
Thanks,
Chris
