PS6210 - Can it negotiate with 1Gbps switches?
I was wondering if anyone knew if the PS6210 supported negotiating at 1Gbps instead of 10Gbps? We'd like to leverage this capability if possible as an interim solution until we get 10Gbps switches put in place.

This is a new feature of the current PSx210 line. Take a look to www.dell.com/.../pd and click on overview. Under "new level of performance"
- Two 10GBASE-T RJ45 auto-sensing (10Gb/1Gb/100Mb) ports
- Two 10GbE SFP+ ports for fibre or copper cabling

Yes, if you use the Base-T/RJ45 interfaces they support 10 *and* 1GbE.

Thanks all. Do you know if there is any technical documentation confirming this? It's likely I'll need official documentation to back the procurement of the device. I couldn't find any..

I'd also like to add that I have a PS4110 and was not able to bring up the network interfaces using 10Gbps switches that were configured for 1Gbps nor did it work on a 1Gbps switch.

Thanks so much! Exactly what I needed. I guess I was digging too deep :)
