PS 6100 series and ISCSI connection to Windows

Hi,

I am having issues with connecting Windows 2019 ISCSI initiators to the SAN.  I have 2 VLAN's- 1 SCSI and 1 data.  all interfaces are assigned to their VLAN sub nets.  I can ping the SCSI network group IP from the Windows box but cannot find volumes when discovering through ISCSI group IP. I checked the CHAP settings and I think they are correct.  I could use some help but I no longer have a contract.

Hi,

if ping to Group IP works but no volume discovery: You can confirm volume allows access from Windows server IQN or IP. For quick test, set to “allow all initiators.” Then check CHAP credentials match. If unsure, disable CHAP temporarily. Disable Windows firewall briefly sometimes blocks iSCSI traffic. Using multiple NICs? Make sure MPIO installed and configured. Keep iSCSI traffic on dedicated VLAN/subnet. Avoid routing direct Layer 2 works best. After connection, open Disk Management, bring volume online, initialize if needed. If the still stuck? Restart iSCSI service on Windows, reboot SAN. Sometimes handshake just needs reset.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your reply.  I was using LACP and it was messing with the ISCSI connection.  I turned it off and I am seeing volumes now.
