equallogic: move volumes from group A to group B
Hi all,
Is it possible to move volumes from group A to group B without time and data loss in equallogic groups?
group A contains ps4100 members (1Gb IP SAN)
group B contains ps6210 members (10Gb IP SAN )
Thanks

Short answer: no.
With 2 groups there is only async. replication which needs a period of downtime for the last sync. of your data and the reconfiguration of the hosts to connect to the new group and volume.
If you use the Volumes as a vSphere Datastore you can use enchanced svMotion for migrating VMs online without downtime and service interruption.

So, the best way is to combine group A and group B into a new Group provisionally, and move the volumes I want.

Maybe you can describe what kind of Host/OS and Application/Filesytem youre using, so we can provide some ways of migration scennarios.
