SR notes formatting - when is this going to be fixed?
Hi,
I know following has been mentioned as known issue (Service Request Logged Notes Formatting; Text, usually copied and pasted from log files, gets reformatted and doesn't reflect the original spacing), but this has been issue since day one. It's been 3 months now and when I take over a SR from colleague and want to read what is going on - I can't. To my surprise I was told EMC tech will see it broken too so I can just imagine how difficult this is for both sides. I'd like to get update when is this going to be fixed (work-in-progress answer won't satisfy me as we are running this PL for 3 months now and despite work I see no progress for this issue).

After investigation from our development team, the fix which was implemented only seems to work with IE. I am now working to prioritize this fix for Firefox to ensure that all browsers can take advantage of this resolution.

A fix for this issue went in this past weekend. If you are still experiencing this issue I will contact you directly to get more information so we can look at it.

I got your email too so I will send you data showing examples too. Is this fix supposed to fix new entries or existing ones too?

The fix will be for new entries only. We were unable to apply it to previously entered notes. For the moment we applied the fix to the two most commonly used note entry points: Add Notes feature on the History Tab when in Service Request Management and on Step 4 of the Service Request create process, there is a required field to provide more problem details.
We will be looking to move this fix through all text entry points on the site.

I sent today an email to you showing that Add Notes is not fixed (example is based on entry made today for case 17339478). Further, email update which is sent based on that entry also ignores carriage returns (included in second email I sent you today).
