How to answer questions in a SR asked by emc support team

Hi,

we have placed a service request for a product. This SR was updated by the resp. EMC support people with some additional questions.

How can i answer this questions?

When i use "View Service Requests" i can open the SR, read the comments/questions of the EMC supporter but i don't find a way to answer this comments/questions via the Service Request form

Someone hopefully can help

TIA

When I open a SR, I scroll towards the bottom of the page and insert my comments within a large textbox labeled "Add Service Request Notes".

If you don't see that, it could be that your Powerlink account does not have permissions to do that.

Other than that, I don't know what it could be.

Not sure about your PL view/layout, but I have list of open SRs on main page. When click on that you get SR history with window where you can update SR. I also have "QUICK SERVICE REQUEST SEARCH" where I can put SR number and voila - there it is.

If you decide to use View SR as you do, you must scroll at the bottom where you will find SR opened under your user id.

@Jose

Thanks a lot.

Yes, "Add Service Request Notes" is the place to update the SR. I thought this is for some additional notes like e.g. "the issue only happens on XP SP1".
