A whole section of the EMC product line got rebranded under the Ionix name... ControlCenter, Data Protection Advisor, Infra, Storage Configuration Advisor, etc. The Ionix division covers all these products now. But ControlCenter is still ControlCenter.
If I remeber correctly the Ionix name came from the concept of keeping an "eye on" X (where you fill in the blank for X). Kind of clever :-)
