Disk Extender & Media Stor 2000 5.4.50
Our current production system is Windows 2000 - Adv w/SP4. We are replacing the servers & the OS. The new OS will be Win2K3-Standard.
When I installed Media-Stor and configure my Optical Library (bring online), it tells me, "INVALID driver". According to the docs, there is a driver that is installed, but not used. The docs says to run the following command, "SCSIUpdate /I" this will install the necessary driver when U have 3 or more drives.
When I install this new driver, Windows becomes unstable. Ultimately, I have to re-install Windows 2K3.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this problem resolved?
P.S. I do not have a maintenance contract with Legato.

Additionally, if you plan on applying SP1 for Windows 2003, you will need to make sure you are running DiskXtender 5.60.049 SR1.
If you do not have a maintenance contract, then I'm not sure how you're going to acquire the new versions. I'd recommend getting your maintenance contract renewed so that you can get Dx 5.60.049 SR1.
