Need to delete directory after SyncIQ policy was deleted

Hi,

I need to delete a directory that is giving me operation not permitted. Prior, I successfully copied the data to another diectory, but I also had another policy to a different array. Later I forgot to break the association and ended up deleting the policy. The array is currently running 9.2. Is there a workaround to deleting the directory without having a policy?

Thanks,

I finally was able to delete the directory. It took about a day assuming it freed up any resources. I had tried earlier to use rm -rf and that failed. I also tried using the TreeDelete job and that also had failed. Even though the SyncIQ policy was deleted I guess after a while it had released the lock. Not really sure, but now everything appears ok. Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for your question. Can you try  running rm -rf on that directory? May need to do it as sudo. Solved: Deleting SynqIQ data - Dell Community
