Dell pro 14 plus (PB14250) - Fingerprint reader doesn't work

I just bought a dell pro 14 plus, and the seller ensured me it will work fine with ubuntu (I also specifically asked about the fingerprint reader).

I installed ubuntu from the iso provided by Dell website, and the fingerprint is recognized (Usually when it's not, ubuntu doesn't show the fingerprint option in the users section).
But when I try to enroll, nothing happens. I also tried fprintd-enroll, but no logs are added when I place my finger over the sensor.

I verified it's turned on in the BIOS settings. I'm on the latest BIOS according to Dell's website.
This is the device ID

I managed to find the solution myself.
Clone this repo

Inside the cloned folder run

sudo ./install.sh
sudo python3 ./debian/update-fw.py

Restart your computer
