Dell Pro 14 Plus - No audio output after latest dell command update
Hi,
As the title suggests, Dell Command Update ran yesterday afternoon and now my output audio has stopped working. Everything appears to be fine, as in audio volumes are showing and drivers are there in device manager. There is just physically no audio.
I have done a dell diagnostic and the audio of the laptop is working just fine. Diagnostics pass all ok.
I have tried deleting the audio drivers and scanning for drivers and having them re-install. Still no luck.
The organisation has just purchased 176 of these devices and we will be having 176 machines with no audio out. This needs to be resolved yesterday. Can someone please suggest what we can do from an enterprise aspect.

The latest version of the AMD Video driver does solve the problem after they released a new version of the driver a couple weeks ago. This is now resolved for now.

Para informarte que en mi lugar de trabajo tenemos las mismas laptops dell Dell Pro 14 Plus
Y también se realizó todo los diagnosticos que realizaste, hasta instalar una version anterior pero el problema persiste, la salida de audio deja de funcionar." se espera que dell pueda dar una solución a este problema tengo más de 190 equipo y reportan cada día casos del audio

We have the same issue and have raised it to Dell Support. As a workaround we found rolling back the AMD Graphics driver to, 32.0.13046.7002, resolves the issue. Make sure it's the one from July and not the older one from April.

Hi,
thanks for that. We've found that version 32.0.13046.12007 also seems to resolve the issue as well. The 12th of September 2025 Driver version.
Dell need to resolve this quickly if you ask me.

Unable to downgrade as my camera had disappeared but is now back with today's update only for the sound to disappear. How do I get helped?

I downloaded the latest driver from https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html and that fixed the issue

@Andyitc that worked, thank you. My gripe now is how do I keep all of them working continuously? Every new update (weekly/bi-weekly) something goes off either my camera/fingerprint sensor or audio.
