Slim ECS1250, monitor help
I bought a Dell Slim desktop a few months ago and didn't unpack it until recently due to health issues. I have a Dell monitor on my current desktop with the cord that screws into the port on the unit. However the new unit only has USB ports. I tried contacting Dell but can't speak to a human. Does anyone have any idea what I need to use my current monitor?

You have the Dell Slim ECS1250 desktop which has two video out ports on the rear DP and HDMI. But we still need to know which specific Dell monitor you have there?

If it's not HDMI, it's either some form of DVI or VGA. You can find a cable to convert HDMI to DVI or displayport.
If it's an old 15-pin D-sub monitor without a digital input, though you can use an active adapter you'd be better off with a new monitor.

We need to know the specific Slim desktop model and monitor model. Look for some labels on each. If you find the labels and see the private Service Tag, you can enter the private Service Tags here to see the models.

@ejn63 thanks for replying. I did order a new monitor. With $50 in rewards from the purchase of the desktop computer I got it for $35.99
