Command Line Task to change parameters
Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible using a batch file and OME (similar to http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/servers/f/956/t/19658911
to change parameters on the Time Zone and NTP page, SNMP Traps and Email settings and the IDRAC settings/Network page?
I would like to rollout changes to R820 servers (and a few m620s and R720XDs)
OR
As an alternative, am I better cloning a particular model, eg R820, then using OME + Batch file to distribute the cloned parameters? Is there an example of how that can be done, if feasible?

Hi,
It is possible to set the time zone and NTP parameters on a server using the Server configuration feature of OME. This feature allows you to set all the iDRAC, BIOS, LC and NIC configurations through OME. You would even be able to clone and configure these features using the stateless computing feature. Point to note is that this is a licensed feature of OME.
