You need to install a fresh OME 4.1 as a "target" and than there is a wizzard which you initiate on the old 3.10 to start the migration. Dell have a video recorded which shows the needed steps.

Is your Server within the same or a different subnet?   OME doesnt push the Updates because instead it just creates a Job and than iDRAC starts to pull the packages.

For this task two different options exists

1. SMB

2. HTTPS

We always use Option2. so iDRAC will download the packages from OME rather than access them from a \\share.

Option 1 is the default and you currently use it.

If you must go through a Firewall Option 1 is way easier.

Correction.. i mean Option 2 is way easier to setup in your Firewall.

The iDRAC try to download the FW packages from that share://  and failed.  Again .. its  FROM iDRAC to OME..... check this direction in your firewall.

must read the docs if its a SMB or NFS share.... we re-configure OME to offer the packages trough the WebServer by using HTTPS. So we allowed 443/tcp from iDRAC to OME.

There is another challenge which goes into the same direction.... you need to specify if OME use its FQHN or IP when creating the JOB on your iDRAC.  If a FQHN is used than the iDRAC needs a propper DNS source.   We use the IP address for that reason.

The option to switch between HTTPS or CIFS Share was added within the 3.x.  Current it 4.2.x., Which version do you use?

Thats stone aged.  Delete it and start with 4.latest and than apply the current 4.2.x upgrade.
