DPA 6.1.2 REST API
I am just starting to look at DPA and REST API. I have to admit this is the first attempt to tackle REST. I found the DPA Rest reference for DPA 6.1, but other than that I cant find much related info out there. In particular what we are attempting is to use REST API called from a external source and if it identifies any failed conditions a ticket will be opened in HPSM. We have the ticketing system functioning what I am struggling with is the REST API syntax and in particular the correct strings for the . I have the following, but am unsure of how to specify child object of "EMC Avamar"

I had reviewed both of those resources. I am more wondering if there are get strings that would identify information that i am looking for? The video does have an example but its of the nodename/hostname. I am trying to identify the strings associated with the DPA groups

I took a look at the how to videos you posted, thanks. I believe using the DPA Analysis and SNMP will be a much simpler method than creating REST reports and alerting on them based on rules.
