DPA 6.0.1 time periods always in GMT +12

All,

Anytime I try to run a report using one of the predefined periods (eg Last day)  in DPA the time period it selects is always in GMT +12. Our DPA server is located in CST and I have confirmed the time on the DPA server to be set to CST and I have also set the Application/data store server to CST using the "set time zone" option in the DPA GUI.

I would like to know how could I have all the default time periods be set to CST.

Open DPA console, in the upper right corner there is a cog icon for settings.  Click the icon then on the Preferences tab there is a configuration for time zone.  This says it is a global setting but this seems for me to be specific to the user logged in and not the entire DPA platform like it indicates.

So this means that if you created scheduled reports, that you should be aware of what user is being utilized for running the report as it might change the time zone that is utilized for the report.  In our case, we use a generic admin account that runs the reports, when they run the job, it is tied to that user's time zone configuration so we had to login as that service account user once and make this configuration change prior to scheduling the reports and sending them.

Thanks a lot rshultz. You are spot on. I had set the time zone for the Admin account and I though this was a global setting. I noticed the reports showing a different time zone when I ran it from my individual account. Once I got it changed it started working as expected. Looks like the Global Setting is a bit misleading.

Thanks

Jacob
