What parts are hot swappable on a DD2500? I want to install 2 slics for 10GBE
I have two 10GBE modules, I want to install on the local DD2500. Is this a hot add, or do I have to bring the system down to install them?

Hi,
No DD models support hot swapping or adding SLIC cards of any type.
If any are removed or inserted live, the DD will reboot.
Only disks and PSU's are hot swappable on the DD2500.

Thanks Jonathan, that was my gut feeling on it, but I never got an answer back. The old admin had given out nfs shares on the data domain like candy, so I have to move some stuff off before I can safely bring it down.
