Why is SYNE delivery service tracking so horrible?

Recently ordered an Alienware laptop which said on November 21 that the order has been shipped by dell but yet not received in the warehouse by SYNE. I see that this issue has been ongoing for a number of customers and must be resolved by Dell. It is time for customers to get value for money as we spend a lot of amount on laptops and atleast we deserved an up-to-date tracking service from its carriers even when they are third party. It has me worried as to whether I will timely receive the laptop or not.

The systems are built in China and shipped to a Dell logistics center in your home country.  Until the system arrives at the Dell facility, you won't see the link become active.  Dell does not manufacture the systems -- they will have no information until the system arrives from Compal, which does build them for Dell.

I have the same issue. Perhaps Dell should look to improve its customer service by making sure its partners accurately contribute to the tracking
