Rubbish UK delivery service DP World

So I get an automated email yesterday saying my laptop was being delivered today between 8am and 6pm, stating i need to stay in all day to recieve my laptop. Assuming i am at home? Luckily i was. I then recieved an automated email at 4.48 pm today telling me they were not able to deliver today and are now going to deliver on Monday 3rd March. Again assuming i am home? What sort of delivery service is this? These are high value items why cant I arrange a delivery slot? I am supposed to be the customer? DP World is the delivery company. Dell you need to get a better delivery company because DP world are rubbish!
