I accidentally deactivated my DellEMC portal user account, need help to reactivate it.

Hello everyone,

I am encountering an issue and would appreciate any advice you might have.

I recently deactivated my  DellEMC account and hoped that it would release my email address so I could use it on my new account. However, when I attempt to use my old email address on the new account, the system indicates that the email address is still in use.

Here are the details of my situation:

  1. My old Dell account has been deactivated and I can no longer perform any actions on it.
  2. When I try to add my old email address to my new Dell account, the system informs me that the email address is already in use.

My main question is: When a Dell account is deactivated, is the associated email address supposed to be released and made available for use on a new account?

I have contacted Dell customer service but have not yet received a solution. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any suggestions that could help me resolve this problem, I would be very grateful.

Thank you all for your assistance!
