Cleared customs but no update yet despite expedited shipping? #2
@DELL-Cares Today's date is Jun 30, 2025, and I have a similar problem. An XPS-14 I ordered on June 9th arrived in Louisville, KY on June 13 via UPS. Since then, there have been multiple scans and status updates, including waiting for information, information received, waiting for release by a government agency, released by the government agency, preparing for clearance, cleared by customs, preparing for clearance again, warehouse scan, warehouse scan, warehouse scan, etc. It seems the laptop is sitting there in Louisville, but no one from UPS or Dell has been able to tell me what is needed to have it sent on to its destination in Newburgh, IN. I'd just like to know if it's really going to arrive at some point and when that might possibly be. It's been 11 business days since it arrived in Louisville and the July 4th holiday is approaching. This is for my granddaughter to start college, so she needs it soon. At the moment, I'm on hold with UPS having been transferred to their international desk. Please help.

I'd like to update my post as UPS did deliver the laptop yesterday, and both UPS and Dell contacted me multiple times over the last week in attempts to help. Dell has even promised to provide me with a small refund for my trouble. I understand that delays can occur, but the UPS system updates only confused rather than inform, and Dell seemed unable to assist. I see this as primarily a UPS problem, unless they were waiting for information from Dell - no way for me to know. My frustration was caused by not knowing or not having a new projected delivery date which made me wonder if it would ever arrive. Kudos to Dell for their attempts to help and final resolution.
