using DCNM for port channel create

Hello,

I've had to do this in pieces and so I apologize for the 2nd post. I thank Dynamox for getting me going with this task. I had to create the ISL(via command line), and turn it up on both switches since we had problems with the new patch panel associated with our switch, line card connectivity and I needed to test it.

I will cable up other members this week to add to the port-channel, and even though I have only 1 ISL created, port 7/1 on core switch, port 1/1 on new edge switch, I want to get this done.

Here is my question: I looked in DCNM and the ISL link and switch show up in the panel. I clicked on the create port channel ICON, chose the the ISL, create, named the port-channel, and clicked the box to create is using the attributes already assigned. The VSAN number is 200, and so that is the one I picked, not the default vsan of 1. Is this correct? 200 is the VSAN I would like. So when I clicked on the finish button, the pop up box says this task is disruptive. Currently there is no traffic yet on this ISL so what is meant by that? Would I be causing an issue with the entire VSAN 200?

Many thanks in advance!
