SC2020 Subnet
Firstly, apologies if this is a stupid question! We've just received our first SC2020 device and reading through the setup docs it says in order to initialise the SAN we need to use a host on the same subnet. My question is, what subnet should that be? Is there a default subnet that all the SC2020 units use?

No. Management IP address is unconfigured. Just connect SCv and server with Dell Storage Manager Client to the same switch :) Dell Storage Manager Client installed on server has wizard wchich is able to discover uninitialized SCv2020.

Correct, SC 2020 will be discovered via Layer 2 protocol, just use as poster above me said.
Whole configuration will also continue from there on, little bit different then the rest of SC Family.
