Unisphere ghost entries in domain after unit de-installed

I have a domain that manages two data centers.  two arrays have been de-installed in the remote data center without the units being removed from the domain first.  Now I have entries stating that there are unverified certificates in the domain as they are unreachable.  How do I get rid of these entries?  I cannot simply go into domain mangement and remove them as the button is greyed out(even in engineering mode).

Hi,

You may refer Primus emc288651, which says, you can remove the ghost entries in the Unisphere Domain using Navisphere CLI using...

naviseccli ·user <my user name> ·password  <my password> -scope 0 ·h <Domain Master IP> domain ·remove <IP address to be removed> ·password <my password>

Ensure you have installed latest Navisphere CLI (30 or later) on the host.

Thanks

Madhu

Firstly Please try restarting the  Unisphere Management Server :

Restarting the Unisphere Management Server (CIMOM) may resolve these issues. Follow these steps:

Note: This procedure  must be performed on both Storage Processors to be effective!

  1. Open a new browser window.
  2. Type in the address bar:

    http: // xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/setup

Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the Storage Processor (SP).
  3. When the screen has loaded, type in the Username and Password used to access Navisphere/Unisphere setup page (UI).
  4. Once logged in, click the "Restart Management Server" button.
  5. Once the page has loaded, click the "Yes" option, and then click "Submit."

Please note, some of these symptoms might be resolved by performing this procedure.

I have the same problem. Restarting the Management Server did not solve the problem. Do we need to do this on the Domain Master only ? On all systems ?

I can't access to Primus emc288651 (since I get "You do not have access to this solution."), but the explanations you gave led me to success! I was sure there was a way via CLI...

Thanks a lot!

Note: since I'm not the question's author, I can't mark this as resolved/closed apparently.
