Trying to convert a nar to csv

Hello everyone,

I am trying to use the navisphere cli to convert a nar file to a csv.

The command that I am using is

naviseccli analyzer -archivedump -data archive.nar -header n -delim cm -eol cr -out archive.csv -overwrite y

but i am getting the following error

.Not a valid archive file.

I obtained the nar file by using a command like

naviseccli -User xxx -Password xxx -Scope 2 -Address xxx analyzer -archive -path D:\TEMP -all -o

what could be the cause of this issue?

so far I tried multiple version of the the navicli (6.26, 7.30 and 7.31)

Thanks,

J

Go to support.emc.com > Login with Powerlink Credentials > Search Navisphere CLI > Try to Download.

If you are still getting 'access denied', write an email to powerlink@emc.com They will be the Right Group for Powerlink Related Issues.

Glen has explained this in a detailed manner here: https://community.emc.com/message/408112

I have also notified the moderators to move this discussion to CLARiiON Support Forum for better visibility to other contributors.

Thanks,

I read Glen's response. It basically confirms that i am using the right command and that the syntax is correct. However, it doesn't explain why I am getting

"Not a valid archive file."

Turns out that I needed version 7.32.0.5.54-1 of NaviCLI

However, I couldn't see it at

Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads J-O > Navisphere Server Software

is there another location where I can download it?
