Multiple disk failure - AX150
Hi,
2 disks (in RAID5 configuration) have failed on our AX150. is there a way to force one of them on line?

You can reseat one of them, but most of the time the faulted disk remains faulted status..
Had the hotspare disk kicked in? Please be careful, "doulbe-faulted" disks in one RAID group may lead to a DU/DL (data unavailable or data lost).

Thank you for the reply. A 3rd disk had failed a week earlier. So the AX was running on RAID5 only, when the problem happened. I will reseat the disk and let you know.

Be very careful about re-seating the disks. In a two disk failure situation (disks in the same raid group), you should only re-seat the second disk that failed.

Thank you all for the help and the advice. I reseated the the last disk which failed and the volume is accessible again.
