How do I backup/restore AX150i configuration?

I have a failed AX150i storage processor.  It is the processor B.  Processor A is working.  I have a new processor to replace the failed B processor.  I am concerned that I will lose configuration settings when I replace the failed processor B with the new one.  Is there a way to backup and then restore the settings for the disk array?

I could not find out the backup/restore option on AX/CX/VNX either. But at least you can generate the SPCollects log file which contains all the information of a EMC storage. You can refer to the KB "How to run SPCollects from Navisphere Express": https://support.emc.com/kb/11254

But anyway replacing a faulted SP should not lose the configuration, what's the status of SPA now? If you log on SPA, could you see the old configuration?

BTW which guide did you refer to replace it? Actually AX150 has its own support site: http://www.emc.com/microsites/clariion-support/ax150/service-support.esp

That's a very old box Isn't it within EOSL?

I started working with AX4, CX and VNX later, and in none of them I lost any configuration because of a SP replacement. I don't know about a backup/restore config, it's the first time I've heard about it.

As Roger W. said, best way to keep your current config is to generate a fresh set of SPCollect.

on CX and higher you can export system configuration into an xml, don't think you can do that with AX

the configuration for the array is mirrored on each SP, if one goes bad and you replace it, the new SP will get the active configuration from the other SP.
