Faulted disk

Hi all,

I accidently faulted the wrong drive using the copytohotspare navi command. Now that the disk is in a faulted stated I want to put it back to a ready state. Is there a way to do this from the navi command line? The VNX is remote and would like to see if I can sync is back over night.

Thanks

Can't be done remotely I have been told. I pulled the drive out, let it spin down, then put it back.

rha298,

Firstly, please consider moving this question to the proper forum for maximum visibility.  Posts to the users' own discussion space do not get as much attention and questions can go unanswered for a while.  You can do so by selecting "Move" along the right under "ACTIONS" and then search for and select: "CLARiiON Support Forum" which would be most relevant.

That is actually a very good question.  I'm not aware of a way to do so remotely.  Hopefully once you move it, maybe others will have some advice.  However, I'm thinking that considering the time that has elapsed, you already have dealt with it. If you have resolved it on your own, can you share your solution?

Thank you for sharing.  Please consider relocating this post so that it gets maximum visibility and being answered, it may help others that seek the same advice.

Here is a recent post providing detailed instructions on how to accomplish this.  The most relevant community for this would be: "CLARiiON Support Forum"
