Cx700 - CRU Drive Causing Loop Failure
Hello,
Cx700 system triggered alerts for disk Bus 1 Enclosure 1 Disk 0 like 'CRU Drive Causing Loop Failure' and after sometime 'Disk(Bus 1 Enclosure 1 Disk 0) failed or was physically removed'. Data is copied to Hot Spare as I see 'All rebuilds for a FRU have completed' message. Just wondering if the Loop failure message is anything to check before replacing disk, please advise. Thanks!

Thanks for replying. This system is not in support with EMC or other vendor, so have to troubleshoot myself. I ended up replacing the disk and so far no further alerts on the disk. Hope it was simple disk failure.

Open an SR with EMC and provide them the logs if you haven't tried it already. I believe there used to have similar messages in events in case of drive failure in CX systems.

What is the entire error message?
