CX3-80 FC Registration Problems
I have a CX3-80 that I can't seem to get working the way I'd like.
I have four servers connected to it, but only one of them is actually functional. I'm using the free edition of Citrix XenServer, so I don't have the ability to use SorageLink, and I had to manually register the FC connections in the "Connectivity Status..." window. Even after I did this, they don't appear under the Storage Domains -> Local Domain -> APMxxxxxxxxxxx [CX3-80] -> Hosts selection. Another forum post suggested I put the system into engineering mode and check to see if the hosts were attached to the "~management" storage group. They are, and the system will not permit me to remove them from that storage group. I'm not sure if this is expected behavior or not, as I'm very new to the EMC world. I connected one server for testing two weeks ago, and it is working, and I'm certain I followed the same procedure with the other three, but they refuse to work.
Can someone please give me a few ideas of where to go with this? I've run out of things for which to search google.

You will need to assign the host to a storage group. Once it is assigned to a storage group, it will show the initiators and then when you click on reconnect it will be assigned. Till then it will show "No Active Paths found"

Go to Engineering Mode.
Right Click on the Storage Group 1
Click on Connectivity Details
Click on Reconnect.

I tried that, and it gave me a dialog with a red stop sign that said "Found no paths from this host."

From Engineering Mode, select the Storage Group that host is assigned to and in the Advanced settings check the host paths to that Storage Group.
If you are using Navisphere Manager:
From Navisphere Manager:
Thanks

Can you post a screenshot for that error?

there is no "Connectivity Details" option, even in engineering mode. I have Navisphere 6.26.21.0.51

Okay just do this:
Go to Host Tab
Select the Host which you want to add initiators to.
Right Click over it > Connectivity Status
(Wait for a 1-2minutes)
Reconnect.
Refer Screenshot

but I don't want them in that storage group at all. the "~management" storage group is the wrong group. I want to assign those hosts to "Storage Group 1" but they don't even show up in the list of hosts to add.

Refer to the Screenshot and comment after that it seems the Hosts are not assigned to the Storage Group properly nor registered.
elkvis If this Storage System is under contract, I would recommend to open a Service Request so that we can investigate this as well as help you understand the process precisely!

according to this document, you don't:
http://support.citrix.com/servlet/KbServlet/download/24520-102-671596/Citrix_XenServer_&_EMC_CLARiiON_CX4_Series_Configuration_Guide_a.pdf
Granted, that's the document for the CX4 series, but from a management standpoint, there's not much difference.
I can try assigning an IP address, but how do I know what IP address to assign? the SP doesn't have an IP address on its FC port(s).

I have one host assigned to a storage group, and even that one generates that error. I cannot assign any of the other hosts to a storage group because they do not appear in the list of hosts to add.

let me start from the beginning. You zoned your Citrix servers to this array, then you right clicked on the array and went into Connectivity Status, you saw the WWN of you Citrix servers and you manually registered them ?
