Safest Procedure to Power Down and Power Up a CENTERA box
Dear All,
We have our Centera box located in a externally hosted datacenter which will have a complete power outage in the next 2 weeks.
We're looking for the safest procedure to Power Down and later on to Power Up the Centera, appreciate if anyone can list or point us to correct info/location.
Many thanks in advance.

On second thought, you have two options. Thank you Glenn.
1) You can look at Primus emc66477
2) The Online Help tells you how to do this.
Download from powerlink and search for Shutdown
http://powerlink.emc.com
Home > Support > Technical Documentation and Advisories > Hardware/Platforms Documentation > Centera > CentraStar Operating System > General Reference

Just for completeness' sake: The procedure to power the Centera back up after a clean shutdown is simply to turn the power switches on all of the nodes back on.
If power had been interrupted and the nodes had not been physically switched off (as you would do when following the procedure in the manual), they will automatically restart when power is restored.
