Api - port
Hi
we have a firewall between Centera and application server, which port the application use to comunicate with the Centera by API?Can i choose them?are they fixed?

Traffic will be initiated by the application server. The Ports used per default are:
Port Direction Service
3218/TCP To/From Centera TCP - SmartPacket port for data transfer
3218/UDP To/From Centera UDP - SmartPacket port for Cluster probe
It might be that you can connect to Centera from the application using a connect string that specifies another port:
123.123.123.123:5555,123.123.123.124:5555?c:\centera\profile.pea
I cannot test it currently as my Centera's are behind a firewall too; but only 3218 is open.

thank you for the interest at the moment no, our developer are using the web-tools of comunity, if they'l evaluate that are not enough they'l study a new solution.
