NS-120 DART 6.0 - CS did something,The system time was changed. SP ready to restore

between 23:40 and 23:53

something happends

i don´t know if this is an automatic process because

no one had do this, sudenly a get the following alert.

Previous Time:  5:41:47 A. ExtCode1=Information; ExtCode2=SPB.

CS_PLATFORM:NaviEventMonitor:DEBUG:5:::::CLARiiON event number 0x4666 ..... Description The system time was changed

does the CS change the time of the Clariion SP,?

at this moment i have this warning

component Celerra NS-120 CKM0xxxxxxxxxx0000: Warning
component CLARiiON CX4-120 CKMxxxxxxxxxxx: Warning
component SP B: Storage processor is ready to restore.

all the rest of components are in OK status.

how to know when the SP B get "NOT READY TO RESTORE" any command.

and restoring SP is disruptive?

thanks  you.

not sure about your time error message but as far as the other error, restore means that LUNs presented to Celerra had trespassed to non-default owner SP. When you run restore SP, they will be trespassed back to default LUN owner SP, a non disruptive operation.

i agree, message could be more descriptive. I am sure it's non-disruptive, i had to to "restore" multiple times before. As you know Celerra datamovers have multiple paths to each SP so trespass is handled without issues. What triggered trespass in the first place ? Good question ..last week i had LUNs trespass on my nS20 and the only thing that happened around that time was a hot spare kicked-in. I would not expect that to cause LUN trespass but it did. You can probably get support to look at SPcollects that tell you what triggered it.

Thank you,

so this means, that SP B does not have problem,  and is working and available?.

"RESTORE SP B" for me is not a good message it seems that something happends to the storage processor isnt it?

ans why was SP B, ? why it was not the SP A?

better if messagges says something  like this "RESTORE trespasses to default owner "

are you sure is not disruptive?

in celerra whats triggers the trespasses, i thought that celerra can lead automatically with this rather than doing this from a normal host

connected to the san.
